What Are UV DTF Stickers?

UV DTF (Ultraviolet Direct-to-Film) stickers are permanent, waterproof decals designed for hard, non-porous surfaces. Unlike standard DTF transfers that require a heat press and fabric, UV DTF uses UV-curable inks and a top laminate to create a high-gloss, raised finish that sticks to almost anything โ€” no heat required.

Simply peel, stick, rub, and you’re done. It’s the easiest way to add custom branding to drinkware, tech accessories, packaging, and more.

First โ€“

  • Always Clean Your Surface:ย For UV DTF stickers, a quick wipe with rubbing alcohol removes oils and dust that can prevent a perfect bond.

Second โ€“

  • Use the โ€œTacoโ€ Method: When applying small UV DTF stickers to curved surfaces like tumblers, bend the sticker slightly toward you (like a taco) and touch the center down first. Work your way out to the edges to avoid bubbles.
  • UV DTF adhesive isย extremely aggressive. Once it touches a surface, it is there to stay. You cannot โ€œre-positionโ€ it like a magnet.

Third-

    • Squeegee or use your fingers to completely bond the sticker to the surface.

Fourth-

    • Remove the transfer film, pulling across the design, not up.
