Transform any garment into a heartfelt tribute to educators with this adorable “Teaching is a Work of Heart” DTF transfer! This charming design celebrates the passion and dedication that teachers bring to their classrooms every single day.
The Story Behind the Design:
Meet Miss Apple, a kindergarten teacher who discovered that her secret superpower wasn’t just teaching ABCs and 123s โ it was literally pouring her heart into every lesson plan, craft project, and “oops, we spilled glue everywhere” moment. One particularly chaotic Tuesday, surrounded by scattered crayons, half-finished art projects, and 20 tiny humans asking “Can I go to the bathroom?” simultaneously, she realized that teaching isn’t just a job โ it’s a beautiful work of heart that requires rulers for measuring patience, pencils for writing endless encouragement, and glue for holding it all together (literally and figuratively).
Design Features:
– Vibrant rainbow lettering spelling “TEACHING”
– Heartwarming phrase “is a work of heart” in elegant script
– Adorable school supply illustrations including pencils, apple, ruler, glue bottle, notebook, and paper clips
– Perfect blend of colorful graphics and meaningful message
– High-quality DTF transfer ready for easy application

Temperature-
-Cotton, Cotton Blends, & Canvas:
275ยฐ F โ 285ยฐ F
-Polyester, Lycra, Spandex, etc.:
275ยฐ F
Pressure-
-Heat Press with a Knob and Output Measurement:
Medium Heavy โ Heavy Pressure
-It should be moderately hard but not impossible to pull down the lever with one hand. Turn the pressure knob to lower the top heat plate until you feel resistance when lowering the handle
-Heat Press with PSI (pounds per square inch) Output Measurement:
170 lbs of Pressure
-Commercial Heat Press with 1-10 Pressure Level Output:
7-8 Level
First Press โ
-Position the shirt or fabric onto the heat press with nothing on it.
-Make sure any collars, seams, buttons, etc. are off the heat press. If this is not possible, use a heat press pad or pillow to elevate the area you will be pressing up so you get even pressure
-Lint roll the shirt (if needed) to get anything lint or fuzz off the garment where you will be pressing
-Press the shirt for 3-5 seconds to get any wrinkles or humidity out of the shirt.
Second Press โ
-Crease the DTF transfer to find the midpoint down the length of the transfer.
-Position the DTF transfer correctly onto the shirt. We recommend using a t-shirt guide or laser system to get proper alignment.
-Make sure the white glue part is down on the shirt and the design is visible from above
-Press the shirt for 10 seconds (8 seconds for polyester or delicate fabrics).
-Remove the top film, starting from the corner and pull across (not up) until the film is completely removed
NOTE-ย
-The DTF adhesive does not full bond as well with canvas material because it has โlooserโ open areas which do not imbed as well until cooled
-Fine lines have less glue due to their design and may not fully stick until cooled
-For these situations, we recommend waiting to cold peel, even though this is a instant peel film.
-Once you have removed the film, place the shirt back on the heat press for the final press
Third Press-
-Place a finishing sheet on top of your design. This can be a sheet of teflon, canvas, etc. that protects and helps embed your design and make the design feel better on the shirt.
-Press for 5 more seconds then remove the finishing sheet and t-shirt from your press.
